What is a unique coaching skill that you bring to your classes?
I like all things gymnastics & love teaching them & watching someone get their first skill.
Also, some people get scared when I show up to coach (I have been a little MIA with all the children).. but it’s only because I have their best interest in heart.. I yell loud & hope to push them past their comfort zones. I want everyone to perform well & be honest!
Why are you passionate about coaching?
I love to see things click for members, whether it’s a gymnastic movement or simply the feeling they get post WOD. I’m still passionate about those little PRs & that post workout high & it NEVER gets old. When performed with virtuosity… nothing beats it!

Favorite: Ring Muscle-Ups. Least Favorite: Echo Bike.
What’s a sport or hobby you enjoy outside of the gym?

But currently – watching the boys play baseball & watching them workout (they ask, we don’t even push it).

What is a unique coaching skill that you bring to your classes?
I have experience coaching people of all skill levels/abilities. I know that what I may say to a college athlete may not be the most effective way to coach someone in their 70s. Having multiple ways of communicating is key in getting the desired outcome when working with a wide array of clients.
Why are you passionate about coaching?
I love that I have people in my classes from all walks of life. People form friendships with each other who they otherwise may not have met in their day to day lives outside the gym. Once everyone is in class they’re all bettering themselves together.

What is a unique coaching skill that you bring to your classes?
I bring the entertainment. If your athletes are laughing and smiling, they are already in a great place. They receive coaching more openly so when they hear you say, “Great job!”, they believe it.
Why are you passionate about coaching?
I love it when I can help people find joy in what they are doing. We are here to help them get fit, feel good about themselves, teach them, and sometimes just listen. I want this to truly be the best hour of their day.

What is a unique coaching skill that you bring to your classes?
I want members in my classes to have 2 takeaways from my classes. 1 is that they have fun and work hard and 2 that they learned something new. Even if it’s the smallest thing in a complex movement that we have in the workout or a cue I give them, I want them to learn something new and improve in each of my classes.
Why are you passionate about coaching?
I love to see people become more fit and reach new goals. Before I started CrossFit, I was that guy in the gym helping people with their form. So when I started coaching I wanted to take that passion for movement and try to impart that on my classes.
What are your favorite and least favorite movements?
Favorite movement is a toss up between squats and Olympic lifts.
What’s a sport or hobby you enjoy outside of the gym?
Outside the gym I enjoy playing golf, basketball, and pickleball from time to time.

What is a unique coaching skill that you bring to your classes?
A large portion of our members have seen me practically grow up so many are like family at this point. I started when I was 13 and started coaching at 19. People today still recall the little kid that would come into class each day with fitness goals to achieve. I think it inspires them to keep chipping away at their own goals.
Why are you passionate about coaching?
I love that I am 50% responsible for helping others get to where they want to be with their fitness. The other 50%, I believe, is up to them on showing up each day and giving the required amount of effort in their workouts and nutrition to get to where they want to be. The responsibility I put on myself helps refine my coaching abilities overtime and helping me grow as a coach.
What are your favorite and least favorite movements?
Favorite: Handstand movements. Least favorite: Rope Climbs.
What’s a sport or hobby you enjoy outside of the gym?
I am a nerd for the paranormal. I really want to go check out Waverly Hills Sanatorium!

What is a unique coaching skill that you bring to your classes?
I help people see their potential—especially when they don’t see it yet. I’m all about getting 1% better every day, finding that one challenge worth showing up for, and celebrating every win along the way.
Why are you passionate about coaching?
My favorite thing about coaching is witnessing those lightbulb moments—when someone suddenly realizes they’re capable of more than they thought. Whether it’s hitting a PR, moving with more confidence, or just showing up and giving their best, I live for those breakthroughs.
