Case Belcher – Owner / Head Coach
CCFT (L3), USAW L1
Case started his journey in the fitness industry in 2006 as a personal trainer. After receiving a bachelors in business management and marketing, he took a corporate position, but continued to coach and train clients as a second job and passion project. Case and his wife Renee opened the doors to their first gym in 2012 and have been working to change the fitness landscape in Southern Indiana and Louisville ever since. Case holds his CrossFit Level 3 coaches certification , USAW- L1, and other specialty certifications. He still competes in triathlons, running events, and in the sport of CrossFit. He’s passionate about staying on the leading edge of strength and conditioning and helping change Kentuckiana to an area that’s known for strength, fitness, and health.
Renee Belcher – Coach
CF L2, CF Weightlifting
Renee began teaching group fitness classes after college but was looking for something more exciting and well rounded. After discovering CrossFit, she knew she had found her passion and wanted to teach it to others. Renee considers her athletes her number one priority and is always thinking of ways to improve the experience at Four Barrel. Prior to CrossFit Renee completed multiple marathons, several triathlons, a full Ironman, and lasted all 24 hours at the first ever World’s Toughest Mudder. She is fully dedicated to the sport of CrossFit, and has her eye set on competing at the CrossFit Games Regionals.
Cory Neel – Coach
B.S Exercise Physiology, USAW-L1, FMS-L2, CF-L2, CWPC
After finishing a college wrestling career in 2012, Cory quickly transitioned into CrossFit to fill the competitive void being a retired athlete had created. Immediately after graduating college with a degree in Exercise Physiology he began training and coaching CrossFit full time at Four Barrel. Since then – when he’ not training – as a dedicated student of his craft, he spends countless hours attending seminars and reading books in an effort to deliver the latest and greatest science of strength and conditioning to Four Barrel. As of late, he has spent much of his time learning from the staff at Functional Movement Systems and developing systems to ensure Four Barrel athletes are moving as well as possible and staying injury free.
Erica Coulter – Coach
B.S. Exercise Science, Precision Nutrition Level 1, CF-L2, USAW-L1
Erica grew up enjoying sports and being active. When she got to college she wanted to continue staying active and that’s when she found CrossFit and weightlifting. She loved the challenge it brought to her fitness and the community that was so supportive. As a coach, she loves to push athletes to be the best version of themselves while watching them achieve goals they never thought possible. Erica heads our nutrition program at Four Barrel where she enjoys meeting athletes exactly where they are at and helping them build lasting habits that promote overall health and wellbeing.
Logan Price – Coach
Logan first found CrossFit in 2012 while still in high school. He was looking for something new after getting bored with the traditional gym routine. He got hooked and never looked back. He got his CF-L1 when he was 17 and started interning shortly after. After doing strictly CrossFit for 2 and a half years, he switched his focus to weightlifting. Since then, he has obtained his USAW-L1 and competed in over 15 local and national level competitions. Logan is passionate about not only coaching CrossFit and weightlifting, but also helping people reach their goals and having fun while doing so.
Sheri McWilliams – Coach
Sheri is a very energetic and enthusiastic person. Her interest in sports began with running and group fitness. She has been a group fitness instructor for 19+years and has received several different certifications. In that time she also had an interest in distance running. Sheri has completed 9 marathons from 2007-2013 and even qualified and ran the Boston Marathon in 2013. Sheri found CrossFit in 2011 and has been hooked ever since. She received here Level 1 certification in March 2014 and Level 2 certification in July 2017. She has been coaching classes at Four Barrel now for 3 years. Sheri has competed in multiple CrossFit competitions and has reached the podium several times. She loves her job and looks forward to changing people’s lives in the future.
William Walker – Coach
William has been an athlete and healthy lifestyle advocate his whole life. He grew up playing all sports and focused specifically on track and football through high school. He served in the Army for 20 years as an Infantry Soldier and led the active lifestyle that goes hand-in-hand with that. After retiring from the Army in 2008 he received his CSCS from the NSCA and started working as a personal trainer. The gym he was at became a Crossfit affiliate in 2009 and he has been coaching and competing in Crossfit ever since. He received his CF-L2 certification in August 2016 and plans on studying and testing for his level 3 within the next year. He loves coaching CrossFit and wants to do it as long as he can.
Casey Hogan – Coach
Casey is an ardent coach and athlete. He has competed in tennis at the highest levels. Casey found success in multiple sports as a youth and was a swimmer/lifeguard for nine years. It was only natural for him to discover CrossFit in 2013. Now he competes in CrossFit multiple times a year, his favorite competition being the Open. He is an elementary school teacher by day and coach by night. Casey has a Level 1 CrossFit Certification and looks to seek a gymnastics certification soon. He has been a part of Four Barrel CrossFit for four years and can’t wait to help you meet your fitness goals.
Mike Losey – Coach
Mike has been doing CrossFit since 2013. He started out doing the workouts on his own from crossfit.com. He then started having other people join in for CrossFit workouts and was hooked on the community aspect of CrossFit. During the summer of 2014 he went to Four Barrel because he knew he needed coaching. He was immediately drawn to the culture at Four Barrel. He received his L-1 certification in June of 2017. Coaching CrossFit has been a natural extension of his first career, teaching. He has two master’s degrees and two bachelor’s degrees in teaching. Those experiences serve him well as he work to help people learn and grow. His family is also part of the Four Barrel community. His wife and parents are members, his oldest son interns, and his two youngest sons have done KidFit multiple times. Four Barrel is his home away from home.
Derek has been coaching CrossFit since 2014. Derek works in Louisville but he, his wife, and his daughter live in Southern Indiana, so he frequents and coaches at both 4B locations. He’s passionate about making an impact in people’s lives through fitness, and loves helping people get their first pull-up, muscle-up, or reach any hard-fought PR.

Dustin Detzer is a certified personal trainer, certified kettlebell specialist, yogi, and former Marine. He has experience training athletes of all ages and abilities. Dustin is passionate about empowering individuals to make sustainable positive changes that lead to a healthy and happy life; a life everyone deserves.

Zack Schell – GM / Head Coach
USAW L2, CF L2, CF Mobility
Zack is the General Manager and Head Coach at Four Barrel CrossFit East. He found CrossFit in Fall of 2012 when he moved to Albuquerque, NM to get his Masters in Trumpet Performance. After moving 1400 miles away from Louisville he found CrossFit ABQ as something to keep him occupied while not at school. While in Albuquerque Zack got his CrossFit L-1, and his CrossFit Movement and Mobility Course. Upon graduating he moved back to Louisville where he found Four Barrel CrossFit – the ownership, programming, and community were an exact match to CrossFit ABQ and he instantly knew it was a perfect fit.
Zack on why he loves to coach: “It gives me the opportunity to better someone’s day, and potentially their life. Many people, myself included when I first started CrossFit, walk through the door with reservations about how they will fit in, and some degree of disbelief in their abilities. As a coach we get the opportunity to shift that way of thinking for them. We get to celebrate with them when they are at their happiest hitting a new PR but we also get to be there to encourage them when they are experiencing self doubt because a lift or workout didn’t go as they planned. They come through the door putting their full trust in us as coaches and there is something truly heartwarming knowing someone trusts you that much. When it is all said and done if one person comes up to me and tells me I helped change their life then it will have all been worth it.”
Gabby Sachs – Coach
CF-L2, CF Gymnastics
Gabby Sachs began CrossFitting the summer of 2012 in Bowling Green, KY and joined the 4B family summer 2016 and instantly fell in love. She interned to become a coach with 4B for 6 months before becoming a coach for them. She got her CF-L2 in the summer of 2017. She originally graduated from WKU with a Bachelors in education, then she realized she wanted to combine two of her biggest passions: teaching and CrossFit. Gabby loves being a coach because she loves building and nurturing the relationships found within the CrossFit community, as well as helping people become the best possible version of themselves by helping them reach their fitness and nutrition goals.
Jennifer Stevenson – Coach
The fuel that fired her desire in fitness was first for herself, but as she took this journey she began to see that other people needed help/support in meeting their health and fitness and goals. After seeing others have success, that made her want to develop a path as a certified trainer. One of her first successes was developing a paid Bootcamp class at the YMCA in Evansville, IN. From that point, she has become a certified AFAA Personal Trainer and has her CF-L2. She is also certified in TRX, Silver Sneakers, and Group Fitness.
Cameron Chesser – Coach
Cameron joined the team in 2015 when Four Barrel East opened. He has always enjoyed physical fitness, competing in organized sports and martial arts. His journey with CrossFit began in 2011 while looking for avenues to prepare for his career in law enforcement. Prior to coaching at Four Barrel, he organized and coached small fitness groups which developed his passion for coaching. Cameron found CrossFit enabled him to push beyond his comfort zone seeing great results both physically and mentally, and desires to help others achieve these outcomes.
Michelle Miller – Coach
Michelle has been active and energetic from a young age playing various sports, eventually picking softball as her favorite through high school. She is naturally competitive so when her soon to be husband Mitch introduced her to Crossfit in 2010 she was hooked. Though she hasn’t been Crossfitting consistently for these last 8+ years her times away from the gym were to focus on her growing family. The pull of Crossfit came on strong in 2015 when she re-committed to joining a gym. It was that year she competed in her first Open. In April 2016 she fulfilled a long term goal of completing her L1 and is on track to gain her L2 by November 2018. She is relentless in her own fitness goals and the never ending journey to become the best version of herself. She recently quit her full-time job as a graphic designer to pursue her passion for coaching people to health and happiness and to continue being an example for her two kids Mikaela and Max. Her words of wisdom seek to improve yourself every day and go after your dreams.

Jackie Mitchell first became a personal trainer in 2013, started doing Crossfit spring 2015, and joined the 4B family fall 2016. She has a Bachelors in counseling but found her passion for Fitness and coaching after college. Jackie on why she chose to become a coach, “after years of feeling guilty about food, focusing on always being thinner, and experiencing chronic back pain, I made a change. I decided to focus on building strength for a year. Something incredible happened. Not only did my body start to transform, so did my diet and my mindset. I began to enjoy my workouts and look forward to them. I desired healthy foods and saw eating as a way to fuel my body and mind. As I was inspired by other strong and confident women, I resolved to help as many others as I possibly could. Crossfit was a natural progression for me as I desired to have more community connected to my fitness. I was drawn to the “fun and competitive” side of Crossfit and I loved that the women doing Crossfit were focused on many goals other than aesthetics. As a coach I love seeing members have those ah-ha moments when they understand a new movement. I also love watching them grow to enjoy being active every day, find confidence in their strength, and joy apart from a number on the scale.
