May Nutrition Challenge
Healthy nutrition is the cornerstone of everything we do here at Four Barrel, which is why we’re going to focus on building healthy nutritional practices again in May with our Spring Nutrition Challenge. This time, we’re focusing on ADDING in nutrients versus subtracting foods from our diet.
The 800g Challenge was developed by OptimezeMe Nutrition and it’s simple, we’re going to focus on eating 800 grams of fruits and/or veggies a day and NO foods are off limits. We believe in the benefits that this challenge provides. By allowing you to follow your existing food preferences, focusing on eating high-quality foods while pushing out poorer choices, and allowing imperfection in our diets, we hope to help you find consistent and sustainable paths for your nutrition that LASTS.
The rules are easy to understand and even easier to follow:
- Eat 800 grams (or approximately 6 cups) of fruits and/or vegetables, by weight, a day.
- Attend 15 classes during the challenge period.
- Complete the weekly fitness challenges (4 total).
Your fruits and veggies can be raw, cooked, canned, or frozen – it doesn’t matter – if you can measure it as a standalone and unprocessed fruit or veggie, it counts!

- One overall winner from each location will win a Getting Started Nutrition Package ($299 value)

The majority of people struggle with their diets because they don’t focus on eating enough high quality, nutrient dense food, which is why we are very excited to bring you this Challenge.
Registration begins Monday, April 15th and closes Thursday, May 2nd. Get involved in a month of building lifelong habits for only $35 for the entire challenge. Sign-up sheets will be in the lobby (New Albany) or at the front desk (East).
