PALEO CHALLENGE APRIL 2013

Diet is the foundation of lasting fitness and we’ll be tackling it head on during the month of April. Join us for our next Paleo challenge starting Monday, April 1st. The challenge will end on May 1st, when we crown the male and female winners.
During our previous Paleo Challenges, CFCF members have lost on average over 3.0% body fat, have reported huge changes in their mood, energy, and relationship with food and have seen some big performance gains!
All the details you’ll need as well as some of the benefits you can expect are below:

Throw out all non-Paleo food
Buy your food from local sources

Realize that it doesn’t cost more to eat this way
Vegetarians – stick with your common protein sources. Try to cut out everything else processed
Challenge Details:
Challenge Buy-In is $20.
We will crown a male and female winner. Winners will be determined by the greatest improvement in body composition (as a percentage), and the greatest improvement in WOD performance.
Prize money will be determined by the number of entrants.
We’ll host a Paleo Seminar on Saturday (3/30) at 11am to get you up to speed on all things Paleo. The seminar is free for CFCF members, and is open to the public. Admission is $15 at the door for the public.
We’ll be doing body fat percentage testing on Monday (4/1) and Tuesday (4/2). Please come to class early or plan on staying a few minutes late to get measurements completed. If you need to have measurements completed another day, please email info@clarkfloydcrossfit.com to arrange a time.
The challenge WOD will be programmed into all class times on Monday 4/1, then again on Wednesday 5/1 for the retest of the WOD. If you’re not able to complete the WOD during class on these days, you may complete it during open gym time by Wed’ (4/3), or Fri (5/3). If you complete the challenge during open gym time, please email your score to info@clarkfloydcrossfit.com
Challenge participants will also have the opportunity to join us for a Paleo pitch-in dinner as well as a guided Paleo shopping trip during the challenge!
