KidFit
At Four Barrel Fitness we are now offering KidFit classes as a fun and exciting way to teach our kids CrossFit’s foundational movements and skills. While kids learn these skills in a safe and fun environment, they will also learn the importance of physical fitness, teamwork, and quality movement. Our KidFit program is designed to help kids develop and improve their overall physical fitness, preparing them to be safe, strong and effective throughout all areas of their life.
- Our first regular KidFit class will meet on August 11. Classes will meet every Sunday at 2:30pm lasting approximately 45 minutes, and are designed for kids ages 8-12.
- In each workout, we will focus on functional movements that are important to kids (and adults) of all ages as they play and participate in sports. They will pull, push, run, throw, carry, climb, lift, and jump.
- There will be activities designed to help develop critical thinking and reasoning skills, instill confidence, and learn the value of leadership and teamwork. Your kids will learn healthy lifestyle practices that will last a lifetime.
- Start anytime! Simply arrive 15min early to class on day 1 to fill-out a waiver and register for class.
KidFit classes will be offered for $15 a class, or as a 5 class punch-card for $60 ($12 per class when buying 5 sessions). All kids participating in class must have a waiver on file and signed by parents prior to participating in classes.
